Launch of our new risk Intelligence provider: Riskline
As of October 2023, Safeture has added a third-party risk intelligence supplier to the Safeture Platform. We have teamed up with Riskline, to provide real-time global risk intelligence. With the new integration comes excellent opportunities to cater to clients’ needs as they are given the option to choose their own risk intelligence supplier.
Some facts about Riskline
- Riskline uses a consistent methodology for determining risk across all its reports. The focus lies on three main factors: impact, threat, and likelihood.
- Monitors open-source intelligence (OSINT) all year around, 24/7, to make accurate assessments. Some examples of the sources they use are media, user-generated, geospatial, governmental, official sources, and specialty sources.
- The country information module in the platform will, with Riskline as the risk intelligence supplier, show some additional tabs. Those are, for example, Risk Summary, Cities Report and Advisories.

Workday integration
A brand-new integration has been added to the Safeture Platform. Workday is one of the largest Human Resource tools on the market. The integration makes automatic synchronization of employee data possible between Workday and the Safeture Platform. Ultimately, this means that we can keep users and their personal data up to date.

Three new APIs
PNR API
A passenger Name Record (PNR) is a booking reference that holds information about a passenger, such as name and contact information of the passenger, travel dates, itineraries, seats, etc. The Safeture Platform matches the travelers in the PNR to end-users in our system. A new traveler profile will be created if the traveler data cannot be matched to an existing user.
With the new PNR API comes more flexibility around integrating travel data into Safeture from other sources than directly from a Global Distribution System (GDS), among others. It offers a standardized format when integrating PNR, resulting in improved traveler data.
Emergency API
Safeture now offers an Emergency API with information on the affected person, his/her location, a timestamp for the emergency activation, and so on. This information can, for example, be integrated into a separate case management system (CMS) for automatic logging and handling of medical/security cases. The new API can be used for any partner to Safeture, with multiple client access.
Employee API
The third new API that we have added is the Employee API. This can be used to add and manage users in the Safeture Platform from external sources such as HR systems.
Employee ID field
Added to the Safeture Platform is the so-called Employee ID. Looking at the landing page in the Web Portal, you will now be able to see a field at the top of the page called Employee ID. The benefit of Employee ID is that it makes it easier to find the correct employee. For example, in case an employer has more than one person with the same name, it is possible to single out a person by his/her unique Employee ID. The field for Employee ID will only show if the field has been populated with data using the Safeture employee API.
Note: the information cannot be edited in the Web Portal.

New product feature: Diplomatic providers
Safeture has released a new, highly-requested feature in the Safeture mobile application, called Diplomatic Providers. From now on, app users will have quick access to locations of nearby diplomatic entities such as embassies, consulates, and liaisons. This is done by consolidating data from external sources (OpenStreetMap).
Where can app users find the information?
- In the Safeture mobile application, go to the “More” menu by clicking on the three dots at the bottom-right corner of the app.
- Next, click on the “Providers” button.
- Go to the new tab called “Diplomatic”.
- Use the filter menu at the top-right corner or use the search bar to access the information you are looking for.

Information on app installations added
A new column has been added to the spreadsheet available for download in the Users Module. The column can be found by clicking on “manage users,” and it informs you of which users have installed the Safeture mobile app, and which have not. This opens up the possibility of reaching out to those who have not installed the app as a measure of mitigating risk.

“App running” removed
In the Web Portal, under “Device info” we have previously been able to show information about whether a user has his/her app running. To prevent confusion, we have decided to remove the information row called “App running” in the profile details of a user.
Where is this view located?
When clicking on a user on the map, then on “view profile”.
To answer the question if the user has an active app, we instead recommend looking at the data showing when their last location report was made.
Search bar added to the Security Overview
The Security Overview module is one of the most appreciated modules in the Safeture Platform and we have just released a feature that improves the user experience of it. With the new search bar at the top-left corner of the Security Overview, it is now possible to search for any location on the map and zoom in on that geographical area. This simplifies the process of viewing all alerts, country risks, and users at a specific location.
Wie funktioniert das?
You can search for a specific address, city, region, or country. After clicking the correct search result, the area will be marked with a blue pin on the map. If you wish to remove the pin, click reset, and the map will zoom out again.

Filter in the Analytics module added
View historical data from selected Risk Intelligence suppliers
Safeture’s Analytics module has been updated. Now, it is possible to filter among Risk Intelligence Suppliers. With this added feature, you can filter out data related to one or multiple Risk Intelligence suppliers. Furthermore, the filter is present on the data views with information related to the Risk Intelligence supplier. This could either be the alerts or country risk ratings.
Improved loading speed of data views
To provide a better overview of your data and shorten the loading speed of the different data views, you can, at most, view data from 36 months back in time.
