Chief Revenue Officer Safeture

Safeture AB is a global SaaS company at the forefront of personal security, the company is headquartered in Lund and has sales offices in Stockholm, UK, Benelux and Germany and is listed on Nasdaq First North.

Safeture has 4000 customers with users in 190 countries that are supported by 38 employees spanning technicians, sales & marketing, analysis and administration.

Over the past couple of years, Safeture has made a successful transformation from an IT company to a full-fledged SaaS Company. Much focus has been on developing an international sales and marketing organization and sharpening the company´s overall offering and sales strategy, which focuses on partner sales. The next step on the growth journey by appointing an important key person, the CRO.

The role as CRO

The new CRO is a committed leader, passionate about creating growth, developing global sales and increase profitability. The role involves responsibility for results and personnel for the sales and client development which include a team of eight team members.  

The main focus of the sales operation is to strengthen Safeture partner position, its tactics and strategy. The client development focus is to decrease churn and increase customer upsell through own efforts or identify automation possibilities in the platform. As well as providing insights to marketing and product teams. The CRO reports to the CEO and is part of the management team.

As the company is entrepreneurial and under strong expansion, the role places high demands on clear and honest leadership with the ability to drive, motivate and enthuse the various team members. The work will include everything from strategic to operational commitments where relationship-building skills and engagement will be clear success factors.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and motivating the Sales and Client Development team towards company targets
  • ARR sales budget, churn containment and identify up/cross sales opportunities
  • Meeting and collaborating with managers internally in the organization to plan strategically
  • Understanding and processing the changing market landscape and constantly be able to recommend new trends, needs, benefits, and platform requirements from partners & clients
  • Minimize custom requests on the development organization
  • The business side of the legal framework (end-client/partner agreements, DPA, T&C)
  • Build and develop relationship with the partner network
  • Execute the go-to-market strategy for products and pricing

Professional profile;

  • Academic degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of well-documented partner sales management
  • Well-documented commercial experience of SaaS solutions, security solutions or other IT solutions
  • Good knowledge about the business side of the legal framework
  • Good technical ability
  • Fluently in speaking and writing english

Chief Financial Officer Safeture

The role as CFO

The new CFO is a committed leader, a generalist rather than a specialist, and enjoys a fast-paced environment in a smaller company. As a CFO you are the right hand to the CEO and enjoy business development as much as the financials. You have a realistic approach and are not afraid to say no.

You will create your role and department now and for further growth and ready to dig into different types of matters to make operations run smoothly. You will be part of the management team of the company. As the CFO at Safeture, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for the strategic financial planning and overall financial management of the company.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Planning: Take ownership of the entire financial planning process, working closely with the accounting firm and a student worker to ensure comprehensive financial strategies from A-Z.
  • Investor and Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain reliable and trustworthy relationships with current and potential investors, auditors, and stakeholders in the stock market.
  • Financial Management: Oversee key financial functions, including Administration, Accounting, Controlling, and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present quarterly and year-end financial accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • KPI Management: Manage, forecast, and budget key performance indicators (KPIs), profits, and liquidity to drive the company’s financial success.
  • Statutory Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations, year-end reports, and government authorities’ requirements. Coordinate with the CEO and Chairman on these matters.
  • Business Models and Simulations: Support the creation of business models and simulations with a strategic mindset to aid in decision-making processes.
  • ERP and Tool Management: Act as the system owner for the ERP setup (currently ChargeBee/Fortnox) and various supporting tools to enhance financial operations.
  • Financial Advisory: Provide guidance to the management team on financial and economic matters, acting as a valuable sounding board.
  • Financial Liaison: Act as an interface between the company, board, and shareholders regarding financial and economic issues.
  • Internal Controls and Risk Management: Ensure robust internal controls and risk management practices are in place to safeguard company assets and interests.
  • Support to CEO and Board: Actively assist the CEO and Board in specific tasks and initiatives, including potential capital raise activities and M&A opportunities.
  • Investor Relations: Support the CEO and Board in managing investor relations to foster positive and constructive relationships.
  • Human Resources: Additionally, the new CFO will take on the responsibility of our HR function until the company reaches a size that warrants the establishment of a dedicated HR manager role.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Broad Financial Experience: You should possess a strong background in both accounting and business analysis/business control, demonstrating expertise beyond just accounting.
  • Generalist Mindset: We prefer candidates with a generalist approach rather than being solely specialized in one area.
  • SaaS and Stock Market Knowledge: While not a showstopper, prior experience in SaaS and stock market environments will be advantageous.
  • Financial Modelling Skills: Proficient in financial modelling and financial engineering with exceptional Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: You must be accurate and precise in your work while also being able to see the bigger picture and adapt to various work tasks.
  • Independence and Proactivity: The ability to work independently and take initiative to carve out your own position in the organization is crucial.
  • Effective Presentation: Comfortable presenting financial information to employees, management, board, and external stakeholders.

  • Underhålla och utveckla olika webbsajter.
  • Skriva, skapa och publicera content, allt från produktbeskrivningar, manualer till user case och nyhetsbrev
  • Föreslå och exekvera kampanjer mot olika målgrupper
  • Ha koll på nya lösningar för marknadsföring via sociala kanaler

Vi söker dig som

At Safeture you will help build and improve the world’s leading employee safety platform, used by many major assistance and security providers around the world. Your contribution will help our partners and their clients and, in the end, help people who sometimes are desperately in need of assistance. For example, when becoming severely sick in a country abroad, far away from family, colleagues, and friends.

We are looking for a senior front-end developer with at least 4 years of senior software development experience including project planning and architecture. We think good developers are both skilled and humble. They know that there is no perfect solution, but many good ones. A good developer has the ability to explore each solution, their pros and cons, and make an informed decision about which one to choose. They also know it is difficult to anticipate all the consequences of a solution but strive to have a clear plan forward.

  • Have general and domain-specific technical knowledge beyond the level of junior and intermediate developers, and successfully communicate this knowledge to the team

  • Make sound architectural decisions and maintain the technical health of the product

  • Train junior developers and coach intermediate and other senior developers
