Alerts are notifications about security incidents to help people stay safe by avoiding risk. Safeture covers incidents of different kinds, such as kidnap and ransom, fire, civil unrest, etcetera. The risk methodology for alerts consists of three risk levels (low, medium, and high) and 21 risk categories.
Alerts are sent to people located within, or traveling to, the impact area of the incident. You can also mark a country as a favorite in the app to receive alerts from that part of the world despite you not being located there right now. Administrators receive an email with information if they have any assets (facilities or people) near a recent incident so they can reach out and ensure their safety.
