Palace of Versailles

Location: Constructed in 1661, this former royal residence stands as one of France’s most renowned landmarks. Its gardens will be open to visitors, granting special access to the site during the Olympics. It will serve as the venue for equestrian and modern pentathlon events.

Capacity: 80,000 spectators.

Advice: The Palace of Versailles can be accessed via Versailles Château Rive Gauche (RER Line C), Château de Versailles (RATP Bus 171), Versailles-Chantiers (TER 862439), and Alma Marceau (Metro Line 9) stations. Spectators are advised to allow travel time and to arrive early at the competition site.
