Riskline methodology
Riskline uses a consistent methodology for determining risk across all its reports.
When assessing risk, Riskline analysts consider the actual or potential impact of the threat or hazard they are reporting and the likelihood of that threat or hazard taking place (if it has not already.)
They analyze the impact on travel (mobility), the physical safety of people, and, to a lesser extent, damage to infrastructure and assets.

Alertes
Alerts are notifications about security or travel-related incidents sent to the Safeture mobile application and/or via SMS and email. Below, you will find more information on the type of alerts covered by Riskline and the methodology used.
Sources and tools
Riskline analysts monitor open-source intelligence (OSINT) 24/7/365 to make accurate and timely assessments of travel and public safety risks. The types of sources used are media, user-generated, geospatial, governmental, and official sources, as well as specialty sources.
Riskline employs several tools to aid their analysts in finding the right information at the right time, including both custom-built tools as well as third-party AI tools.

Alert risk levels
Riskline’s methodology is based on best practices from internationally recognized risk management procedures and consists of five Risk Levels: Low, Moderate, Medium, High, and Extreme. In general, each risk level has the following characteristics:

Safeture presents you with country information in both the web portal and mobile application for 230 different countries and territories. For each country, you find risk assessments, information on security issues, passport and visa requirements, medical information, and many other topics.
