Mobile application

Simplified login process for app and web portal users.

Release date: 2024-02-20

The login now automatically detects the correct login option based on username and redirects the user to either a page to input a password or an external URL connected to the user’s configured SSO.

The former login required the user to enter a username and password or separately select the Single Sign-on (SSO) option (the Enterprise Login). The former login presumed the user knew which option to choose, which might have led to confusion.

New email design

Release date: 2023-11-28

Improved visual appearance across all send-outs.
We understand that email is an important communication channel and source of information when working with risk management. Time is often a scarce resource, requiring the risk information to be presented in a clear way. To achieve that, the design and layout of all emails should enable quick access to the most essential information.

To improve the presentation of information and achieve a more unified look and feel across all email send-outs, we initiated a project to improve the email design of all system-generated emails.

Did you know?

You can receive the emails in the language of your choice through the language settings in the web portal. Enable machine translations for all dynamic content, such as alert information, to be translated.

New demo environment, populated with system-generated sample data.

Release date: 2023-11-24

Get the right conditions and tools to quickly display the value of Safeture to prospective buyers.

To illustrate the true value of Safeture, the demo environment needs to be populated with data and users. When there are users, travel bookings, facilities, alerts, and country risk ratings, you have the right conditions to show what risks and threats can be detected through Safeture.

We have now developed a demo set-up where the sample data is populated automatically within an account and kept updated without any effort on your side. The setup also gives the option to mix real admins and end users within the account, which can be useful when doing live demos.

If a client has the demo option enabled and starts using the account, we can disable the demo data with a simple click and the sample data will be removed automatically. This enables the client to continue using the same account with onboarded users after evaluating the platform.

Please reach out to the client development team for support with accessing the new demo environment.

Three new APIs

Release date: 2023-10-16

PNR (Passenger name record) API

A flexible way to integrate travel data into Safeture.

A Passenger Name Record (PNR) is a booking reference that holds information about a passenger, such as name and contact information of the passenger, travel dates, itineraries, seats, etc. The Safeture Platform matches the travelers in the PNR to end-users in our system. A new traveler profile will be created if the traveler data cannot be matched to an existing user.

The new PNR API offers a standardized format for integrating PNRs. Also, this gives greater flexibility to integrate travel bookings from other sources than directly from a GDS (Global distribution system), for example

Emergency API

Integrate Safeture emergency information into another system.

Safeture now offers an Emergency API with information on the affected person, his/her location, a timestamp for the emergency activation, etc. This information can, for example, be integrated into a separate case management system for automatic logging and handling of medical / security cases.

This API can be used for any partner with multiple client access.

Employee API

Add and manage employees from external sources into Safeture.

Used to add and manage users in the Safeture platform from external sources such as HR systems.

Content Module

Enhanced editing of the country information.

Release date: 2023-02-14

To clearly distinguish the original Country Information from any potential additions, we have decided to remove the possibility of editing individual information sections. However, you can now add additional information in two new information tabs.

So, instead of editing the original information, we allow Admins to complement the existing information through two new tabs:

  • Additional Info tab: For partner admins, who are managing the safety of one or more client/-s, you will see this new tab in the Country Editor of the Web Portal. Note that the information added in this tab will be displayed for all users connected to all your clients’ accounts.
  • My Organisation Info tab: Admins who are administrating users related to a single account will see this new tab in the Country Editor of the Web Portal. The information added here will only be visible for the users connected to that specific account.

Hide/show existing information sections

There are also possibilities for you to hide individual sections of information in the Country Editor. Note that a Client Admin will not be able to hide information added by a Partner Admin. The Partner Admin, on the other hand, can hide sections of information on both a partner and client level.

Automatically assign users to groups based on a custom SSO field.

Release date: 2023-01-24

What is Single Sign-On?

Single Sign-On means using your existing company user login credentials to external platforms like Safeture. In other words, all of the user credentials are owned and controlled by you, which makes the login experience smooth for all users. You use your existing company username and password to log in to Safeture, and the username can even be pre-populated for a smoother login process.

Stop wasting time manually adding users to groups.

The Safeture Platform supports manually assigning users to groups to create user hierarchies and give Admins access to specific groups.

To give further automated options for this process, we have enabled you to set group belonging using a pre-defined parameter received after a successful SSO login attempt via an external identity provider.

Note that if the group values for a user are changed between sequential logins, the group should be updated, even if it was previously already set.

The new Analytics Module contains all the data you need for Travel, Risk, and Crisis Management. With the anonymized Analytics data, you will get a better understanding of your historical threat exposure, emergency response, travel patterns, and platform usage.

Email Parsing
Travel Data

Email parsing error notifications

Safeture provides an option to integrate travel booking data by sending booking confirmations to a dedicated email address. These emails will automatically be parsed through a third-party parsing solution, Traxo, to retrieve both booking and traveler data.

Safeture has now added new error notifications to the parsing process to prevent a failed email parsing attempt from going unnoticed. Safeture performs a check, and if any of the parsed travel data is incorrect, both the user sending the parsing email and the administrators for that account will get an error notification email. This email contains information presenting the cause of the error so that it can be corrected.
